Today was an eventful day for me. I planted a sapling! Today a tree plantation drive was organised in our school. All the students were divided into groups which were supervised by a teacher. Every group had to choose a spot and plant a sapling. Our group chose a place. Then all of us together tilled the area to plant the small sapling that each group was given. We have put the sapling of a mango. This will have two benefits We can make juice in summer and two; We can actually tie a swing on it and swing in it. It was a blissful experience.
We decided like the others to water our sapling every day till it grows into a tree. It was a fun thing we did today but we also got to learn so much. Growing our own tree in the school campus is a message to all that we must all plant trees and save the planet from the cons of deforestation and global warming.
