i think that this could help you [maybe]-
basically remember this take iron fillings and 1 magnet when u will take the magnet near the iron fillings u will see that most of the fillings will be on the sides of the magnet. Now remember there are 2 places where they are sticking the most so i believe that this makes 2 regions.from this u know that there are 2 regions in a magnet where its magnetic strength is concentrated
