Rate of formation of H2O = 1/2 x d[H2O]/dt
rate of disappearance of O2  = -d[O2]/dt

now, 1/2 x d[H20]/dt   =  - d[O2]/dt

d[H2O]/dt  = -2 x d[O2]/dt

hence , rate of formation of H2O  is twice the
 rate of disappearance of  O2

hope , it helps
