CHANGES IN GENE ARE ONE OF THE REASONS FOR VARIATIONS IN ORGANISM.SUDDEN CHANGES THAT OCCUR IN GENES ARE CALLED MUTATIONS.MUTATION THEORY EXPLAINS THAT NEW SPECIES ARE FORMED BY THE INHERITANCE OF SUCH CHANGES.THIS THEORY IS FORMULATED BY A DUTCH SCIENTIST ,HUGO DE VRIES.
