Explaib why iccream is felt colder than water at 0dgree

Ice cream appears more cooler to the mouth than the water at zero degrees Celsius because ice cream absorbs latent heat as well as the heat energy in order to attain room temperature.Thus, water absorbs less amount of energy from the mouth as compared to ice cream.
