Inductive effect- it is an electronic effect due to the polarisation of sigma bonds within a molecule or ion. Ex- +I,-I
Electromeric effect- it observed only in organic compound with multiple bonds in the presence of an attacking reagent.
Ex- +E, -E
Resonance effect- it describes the polarity produced in a molecule by interaction between a lone electron pair & a π bond in adjacent atoms.
Ex- +R,-R
