Reduction:-Reduction is any chemical reaction that involves the gaining of electrons. Specifically, it refers to the side that accepts electrons. When iron reacts with oxygen it forms a chemical called rust. In that example, the iron is oxidized and the oxygen is reduced.Reduction is the opposite of oxidation. A reduction reaction always comes together with an oxidation reaction.

Oxidation:-Oxidation is any chemical reaction that involves the moving of electrons. Specifically, it means the side that gives away electrons. When iron reacts with oxygen it forms a chemical called rust. The iron is oxidized and the oxygen is reduced.Oxidation is the opposite of reduction. A reduction reaction always comes together with an oxidation reaction. Oxidation and reduction together are called redox (reduction and oxidation). Oxygen does not have to be present in a reaction, for it to be a redox reaction.

Induction:-In Physics, the inductive effect is an experimentally observable effect of the transmission of charge through a chain of atoms in a molecule, resulting in a permanent dipole in a bond.

Conduction:-Conduction: the result of collisions between molecules; when one end of an object is heated, the molecules vibrate faster and the energy is transferred to their neighbours.
Definition for Conduction :
1. Thermal conduction the transfer of heat between two solid materials that are physically touching each other.
2. Electrical conduction the transfer of electrical current through a solid or liquid.Definition for Conduction Band :A partially filled band or a band of vacant energy levels just higher in energy than a filled band; a band within which, or into which, electrons must be promoted to allow electrical conduction to occur in a solid.
