1- these forest are found where the winters are long and severe and Summer is short. 2- precipitation is received in the form of snow in winter.3- most of trees are tall and conical in shape. due to there shape ,due to their shape, the snow cannot accumulate on them.4- these trees do not shed there thick-niddle shaped leaves hence always appear green. 5- such forest are common in higher latitude of northern himesphere and high mountains in Europe, Asia,north Canada and USA. 6- in India it is found in southern slope of the Himalayas. 7- pine ,fur,spruce , cedar, oak, chestnut , walnut , and maple are some common trees of these forests.8- the animal commonly found in these forest are kashmiri stag , spotted deer, Tibetan antelope.
