Explanation:using contraceptive pills as they are combination of estrogen and progesterone (mainly) so when they are taken by females .then in their body level of these two hormones increase which cause feedback inhibition of fsh and gnrh and no new follicle will develop in ovary.As follicles are not develop so even the couple do the coitus and sperm reaches the female tract but would not get fertilise or implant and pregnancy will not occur.
