The 10 percent law states that....

When plants receive energy it's only 10 % if the total energy...... And then from plant what the other animals and consumers receive is the 10 %, of what the plant has gained...... Example : 100J gained by plant then only 10J will be gained by any other animal and if that is eaten by any other then only 1 J will be gained by the third one......
