1.) Green revolution introduced HIV seeds which increases the yield.
2.) It introduced modern Farming and irrigation methods like Tractora and tubewells, which reduced the time and helped in doing the work mire efficiently.
Demerits:
1.) Green Revolution introduced Irrigation by Tubewells, which considerably decreased the water level.
2.) It introduced Fertilizers which were used in excess and which caused Water pollution.
