Ca+ 2HCl ---> CaCl2+ H2

when silvery grey calcium is drpped in dilute hydrochloric acid which gives dense white fumes with a rod dipped in ammonia solution, a colorless crystalline solid calcium chloride is formed along with a gas which burns with a blue flame and pop sound.



Zn+ H2SO4 ---> ZnSO4+ H2
