1. the outcomes depends on how the people perceive their identity. If they see their identity in singular and exclusive terms it becomes very difficult to accommodate. It is much easier if the people realize that their identities are multiple and is complimentary with the national identity.

2. It depends on how the political leaders raise the demand of different communities. It is easier to accommodate the demands that are within the constitutional frame and are not at the cost of any other community.

3. It depends on how the gov. reacts to the demands of diff. groups. If the rulers are willing to share power and accommodate the reasonable demands of minority community, social divisions become less threatening for the country.
