your answer....

Differentiate between Active and Passive Citizens.

Answer:

Active Citizens: Only men above 25 years of age who paid taxes equal to at least 3 days of a labourer’s wage were given the status of active citizens. Only they had the right to vote.

Passive Citizens: Whereas, the remaining men as well as all the women of France who were not entitled to vote were called Passive Citizens.

~~~~~~ANSWER ~~~~~~
Passive citizens :-
Passive Citizens had no property or voting rights. They were protected by the law but had no say in the making of government bodies.
Active citizens :-
Active citizens were literate adults who had been resident in France for a certain period of time (I think one year) and they paid at least a certain amount of taxation.
