First pathway
In which O2 is present
Pyruvate is 3 carbon molecule which broke down in presence of O2 in mitrochondria and forms CO2 +H2o + 38 ATp
Second pathway
In which lack of O2 present
Pruvate brokers into Lactic acid + CO2
Third pathway
In which O2 is not present
Pruvate brokes into CO2 , ethanol 2 ATP
