What you’re asking for is one of the twists or themes in the Nazi Ideology. The ideology prophased many things. One of the common or popular ones is the Aryan blood line.
Among other things, the National Socialists promoted to a great deal, the virtues of Motherhood. This could be seen as one of the very very few good things they did. They even gave a rather nice Cross (Mutterkreuz) to the German Mothers like shown above. The Criteria for this was three tiered.
Mothers with four or five children got bronze crossMother with six or seven children earned silver crossMother with eight or more children earned gold cross.(shown above)
Now, by 21st century standards this would be frowned upon. But mind you, it was pretty common even in 1930’s United States to have 5 to 8 children. There, although not honoured, it was pretty proud moment or bragging rights.
In Germany, there were 3 separate idealogical reasons.
Racial Purity and promotion of Aryan Blood- Only “approved” Aryan women got to qualify for the medal. Non-Approved ones were penalized. The concept of Ideal Aryan Woman was always looked at as baby making machine.Lastly the woman was looked at as three roles. As a mother she was to meet the national demands (making Good Nazi Soldiers), housewife acts according to the National economic laws, as an employee, she is part of the overall national household.
But please do understand the common mindset back then, all over the Europe as well as America were not terribly different. They might not have been THIS extreme, but nonetheless there were some commonalities. Needless to say, women’s rights were nearly non-existant as against today. Besides, it was a portion of women back then who were actively propagating parts of this.
