Access can be used to develop web applications too.  The browsers can be used as front end to access the web database built on access.

Access can be used as a front end for enterprise wide client server applications.  Access can be used to display data retrieved from queries (created by SQL server or Oracle for example) in the form of forms, reports or spreadsheets.

Access can be used to develop a corporation wide and a department related database applications.

Easy to use application access gives many tools.  Its graphical user interface GUI is very good.  It gives a user friendly environment.  With basic computer knowledge users can create, maintain and manage databases in access.  Development of applications using access helps  easier interfacing with other applications and softwares from the same organization. 

 Forms development and reportwriter functions are very good.

Ms access is a microsoft application which was first designed by Microsoft in 1996. Ms access was first used for only making information and editing text. Later, it was used for another purposes.
