Answer:

Explanation:

In the history of art, literature and cultural studies, Orientalism is an imitation or depiction of aspects in the Eastern world. These images are usually made by writers, designers and artists from the West. In particular, the Orientalist painting, which depicted more specifically "the Middle East", was one of the many disciplines of academic art in the nineteenth century, and the literature of Western countries was concerned with oriental themes.

Since Edward Said published the picture Orientalism in 1978, academic discourse has begun a lot of use of the term "Orientalism" to refer to the transcendent attitude of Western public towards the Middle East, Asia, and North African societies. In a happy analysis, the West establishes these societies as immutable and underdeveloped - thus creating a view of Eastern culture that can be studied, photographed, and reproduced at the service of imperial authority. Said says that implication in this fabrication is the idea that Western society is sophisticated, rational, flexible and superior.
