.1)Language policy is what a government does either officially through legislation, court decisions or policy to determine how languages are used, cultivate language skills needed to meet national priorities or to establish the rights of individuals or groups to use and maintain languages
2) Linguistic states are the states divided on the basis of language.It is common in a multilingual country like India where diverse languages are spoken.So, for better administration and reduction of the possibility of regional conflicts in future, states in India were carved out on linguistic basis.
3) Centre State Legislative Relations. Articles 245 to 255 in Part XI of the Constitution deal with the legislative relations between the Centre and the State. Extent of laws made by Parliament and by the Legislatures of States. The Parliament can make laws for the whole or any part of the territory of India.
