A method to find the diameter of a spherically body:
To find the ‘diameter’ of a spherical body we need two wooden or metallic block. They are placed beside each other, side by side such that the spherical ball just fits between them. The two end of the block touches the sphere.
Now the sphere is slowly removed such that the blocks are not distorted. Now the distance between the two blocks are measured. The least distance between the two gives the diameter of the spherical body.
