Take an iron nail wind it with a copper wire. Then connect the ends of a wire to an electric cell. Allow the flow of current through the wire. Now bring some iron filings near the nail. You will observe that iron filings are attracted towards the iron nail. This shows that magnetic field is developed around a nail
