                            Quadrilateral

A figure which is made up of joining any four non-collinear points is called quadrilateral. Sum of all angles of quadrilateral is 360°.

Types of quadrilateral

1. Trapezium

A quadrilateral in which one pair of opposite sides is parallel is called a trapezium.

2. Parallelogram

A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if its both pair of opposite angles are parallel.

3. Rhombus

A parallelogram in which all side are equal is called rhombus. In rhombus diagonals are not equal but they bisect each other.

4.Rectangle

A parallelogram in which each angle is a right angle and opposite sides are equal is called rectangle. In this diagonals bisect each other and they are equal.

5. Square

A parallelogram having all sides are equal and angle is right angle is called a square. In this diagonals bisect each other and they are equal.

6.Kite

A quadrilateral which has two pairs of equal adjacent sides but unequal opposite sides is called kite.
