⏩Endoplasmic Reticulum

Endoplasmic reticulum means a network in the inner fluid of cell. It is a complex network of channels bounded by membranes.

Endoplasmic reticulum occurs in two form :

  • Smooth endoplasmic reticulum (SER)
  • Rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER)

⏩Golgi complex.

Golgi apparatus is the specialised portion of smooth endoplasmic reticulum meant for cell secretion. It consists of flattened sacs or cisterns, vesicles and large secretary vesicles or vacuoles.
