soil is a mixture of many things it also contains part of decade living organisms many organisms along with micro organisms are also there which change the quality of the soil humus also changes the quality of the soil and make it porous and easy to penetrate .

The nutrient present in the soil depends upon the rocks from which it is grid the amount of humus and the nutrients decide the kind of plant it can support . Humus can be increased by use of earthworm.

the topmost sorry present which contain humus and nutrient is called topsoil and decides the biodiversity of life there regular use of fertilizers and pesticides affect the soil and barren it from its fertility some other activities also affect the composition and polluted it .
