- Religion cannot be the basis of government. The old system of reserving administrative posts for specific religions is archaic and needs to be replaced by a more secular democratic model of governance.

- Lebanon should adopt a system of democracy.

- The rules and regulation should be such that everyone would be able to contest in elections, irrespective of their religion, caste, economic status or sex. There should not be discrimination on the basis of religion. Lebanon should devise constitutional framework that guarantees cultural, social, economical and political rights to all the sections of the Lebanese society.
