Answer

  • The large intestine, rectum and anus together combines to form a excretery system in human body.
  • They are the organs which helps the waste materials to go out of the body in the form of feaces and urine.

\bigstar Large Intestine :-

  • The large intestine is a pipe-like structure that converts the undigested food into feaces. The water, salt and many more are considered as undigested food. These food items enter the large intestine.
  • The large intestine is shorter than small intestine but it's wider than that. It stores the feaces in it so that it can be removed from our body.

\bigstar Rectum :-

  • It is an organ that connects from the large intestine to the anus. It is approximately 10-15 cm long.
  • It stores the feaces until it is egested out of the body.

\bigstar Anus :-

  • It is the last organ of the digestive system. The main function of this is to remove the undigested food i.e, feaces from time to time.
  • The water substance is removed in the form of urine, whereas the undigested material is removed from the rectum.
