mendelev noticed that when we arrange elements in increasing atomic masses the elements with same properties repeats after a definite interval on the basis he created mendelev periodic table.

the main principle of mendelev periodic table are the atomic masses are the fundamental properties of the elements.

\large{\underline{\rm{\red{Medeleev's\:periodic\:law:-}}}}

→ The properties of the element are the periodic functions of their atomic masses.

→ Medeleere arranged the elements in different rows and columns. He classified the elements into 18 vertical column called 'groups' and further sub columns into IA, IB, IIA IIB, .... VIIA VIIB, VIII [Fe, Co, Ni] groups. 7 horizontal rows called periods.

→ He predicted the properties of some undiscovered elements

→ He left three blocks for element that were not discovered at that time.

→ Isotopes of some elements with different atomic masses were placed in the same position

→ Elements of subgroups A and B of a given group had no similarity in their properties.
