Individual Resources

(i) These are owned by individuals privately.

(ii) Many farmers own land which is allotted to them by the governrr|ent against the payment of revenue.

(iii) In villages there are people with land ownership but many are landless.

(iv) In urban areas people own plots, houses, ponds, water wells etc.  

National Resources

(i) These resources belong to the nation.

(ii) The country has legal powers to acquire even private property for public good.

(iii) Roads, canals, bridges are constructed on fields own by individuals.

(iv) Urban Development Authorities get empowered by the government to acquire land. All minerals, water, forests, wildlife land within the political boundaries and territorial water belong to the nation.
