The p-block elements are found on the right side of the periodic table. They include the boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and flourine families in addition to the noble gases. The noble gases have full p-orbital's and are nonreactive.
A block of the periodic table of elements is a set of adjacent groups. The term appears to have been first used by Charles Janet. The respective highest-energy electrons in each element in a block belong to the same atomic orbital type. Each block is named after its characteristic orbital.

P-block

block elements are those elements in which last electron lie in the p subshell .
There are 6 group in p block
as we can fill 6 electron in p subshell .
group 13 - Boron family
group 14 - Carbon family
group 15 - Nitrogen family ( pnicogens )
group 16 - Oxygen family ( chalcogens )
group 17 - Halogens
group 18 - Noble gases .
