☃️PHENOTYPE:-

➡️The term phenotype refers to the observable physical properties of an organism ;these inclued organisms growth and development and behaviour.

☃️ GENOTYPE:-

➡️A genetic constituent of an individual organism.

❇️For example ;having a blue eyes is a phenotype and lacking of brown eyes is genotype.

✍️Finally, we are done, thanks a lot, hope it helps,⛄

A N S W E R :

\underline{\mathcal{\red{PHENOTYPE\::}}}

In this genetic the outcome of the inheritance, which is visible externally or morphologically, is called Phenotype.

For example :

In Mendel's experiment the tall appearance is the phenotype (TT, Tt) .

\underline{\mathcal{\red{GENOTYPE\::}}}

The genetic configuration of an organism (in relation to the inheritance of characters) is called genotype.

For example :

In Mendel's experiment, the genotype of tall plants were TT ot Tt. Here TT or Tt are the genotypes.

\underline{\mathcal{\green{DIFFERENCES\:BETWEEN\:PHENOTYPE \:\&\:GENOTYPE\::}}}

Phenotype :

  • It represents observable characters of an organism.
  • Phenotype may change with time like, zygote, child, adult & old.
  • The genotype of organisms having same phenotype may be different (TT,Tt) tall.
  • We can be know by direct observations.

Genotype :

  • Genetic composition of an organism is known as genotype.
  • Genotype of an organism remains the same throughout it's life span.
  • The organism of same genotype will show same phenotype at a given time & environment.
  • It can't be studied directly. It's studied by cross.
