it is done in south side ..where the festival is related cows ( gaye in hindi ). basically madrasi people celebrates it ...

pongal is the harvest festival of Telugu States Ap and telangana. It usually celebrates in the Month of January.it is three days festival.first day called as kanuma second day called as bhogi and third day called as sankranthi
