Explain about projectile motion?
Answers
Projectile Motion -
When a body is projected such that the velocity of projection is not colinear with its acceleration than body moves in a curved path and if acceleration of body is constant than its path must be parabolic and its motion is known as projectile motion.
Extra Information
1. In projectile motion a body which is projected is known as projectile.
2. In projectile motion time taken by the body to reach at highest point from the ground and return back to ground is known as time of flight.
3. In projectile motion horizontal distance travelled by the body is known as horizontal range and distance of highest point from the ground is known maximum height.
4. At top most point speed, velocity, momentum and kinetic energy becomes minimum but potential energy becomes maximum.
