Hey! When I was in class 10..I got full marks for my SST project out of whole class. I will help you to do the same.
Research a lot about your project's topic. I am giving you some important websites which are more productive.

These 3 websites were used by me. And I will suggest you to go for Wikipedia it will help you a lot.
Second point would be to have pictures to decorate it. Go to a nearby Internet cafe coffe shop or its perfect if you have a computer at your hume! Take out pictures regarding your topic. Like your topic is Relief in Assam right, so search it in Google and take out atleast 5 attractive pictures or more..5 images won't cost you much! And paste them with an attractive boundary.
Third suggestion would be decorate your cover of the file as first impression is the last impression. So for the subject SST I would suggest you that go for a tree and flowers and bend down its branches to a box. Write your name, class section, roll no. and subject inside the box.
An important tip: Your outer cover should look very very attractive even if your inside content is not good but make sure that your file should look very formal.
