Not a typical word
so the word itself says about it .It is a single cell much more like not complex and proteinaceous ,,pretty good stuff right so lets know more about it then....WELL DID YOU OBSERVE SOMETHING IF WE SAY ITS PROTEINACEOUS THOSE ARE EDIBLE IN SENSE , WE COULD EAT THEM HOLY GRACIOUS

HOW IS IT MADE OR WHAT IS IT????

Well as the word saying its a single cell which which rich in protein, in some cases the protein may also be a product of cells and suitable for consumption .It could be eaten by farm animals or any of animals including us.
The single cell protein are commonly bacteria , fungi and algae kingdom species..
Yeast is the most common single cell protein it comes under kingdom Monera whose sole members are bacteria which consists of yeast nothing but bacteria .
These SCP's are used as food supplements instead of the heavy food we eat every day

WHY DO WE EAT SINGLE CELL PROTEINS:
Well we know that day by day our population size is increases with every day new infants born .But the supplies we have are still the same,we have the same earth we have before with larger population occupying larger space and definitely we need to feed those newly added babies and the growing people right if not we somebody should right , to meet the need of the increasing population surplus amount of food has to be produced which is kind of not possible , its so tough that it needs so much land soil water for the production , instead of the life draining processes to produce such huge quantities to give us the sufficient nutrients out great scientists have invented more like discovered SCP which are the landmark for protein these can be consumed and can be produced in a large scale with out that much usage of resources , they can even photosynthesize hence autotrophic , simple and fabulous right .A single cell to solve our problem

Yes it absolutely does and we need not eat that much too protein makes us less hungrier than usual ..seems good right

BUT I AM SORRY FOR MISSING GOOD FOOD CAN'T HELP IT ITS FOR FUTURE PURPOSES SURE THESE WILL FILL OUR TUMMIES AND ENERGIZE AND BUILD UP OUR BODIES AND ALSO SAVE RESOURCES .
