Symbiotic nutrition
Symbiotic nutrition is the relationship between organisms in which they share their nutrition and shelter. This mutual relationship may or maynot be beneficial to both the partners. Three types of symbiotic nutrition.
- Mutualism: Both the organisms are having benefit in this relationship. Eg – Rhizobium living in the root nodules of leguminous plants.
- Commensalism:One of the organisms benefit while other doesn’t get benefited in this relationship .Eg – Cattle and Egrets.
- Parasitism:One of the organisms get benefited while other gets harmed in this relationship. Eg – Tapeworms and Humans.
