chemical classification of enzymes
=> divided into 6 types
1) oxido reductase:
these are the enzyme which catalyse oxido reduction between two substrate
2) transferases :
these are enzymes catalysing a transfer of group between a pair of substrate.
3) hydrolases:
enzyme catalysing hydrolysis of ester ,ether, peptide and glycosidic bond
4)lysases :
enzyme that catalyse removal of group from substrate by mechanism other than hydrolysis living double bond
5) isomerase :
these are the enzymes catalysing inter-conversion of optical, geometric or positional isomers
6) ligase :
these are the enzymes catalysing the linking together of two compounds

Enzymes are the biological catalyst used to speed the chemical reaction .

Chemical classification of enzyme :-

Ligases :- This is used to join the two molecules by forming a bond between them .

Hydrolases :- This is the first part of the chemical classification of enzyme .

Transferasis :- This is used for the transfer of enzyme to other one .

Lyases :- These break the bonds between them without the use of catalysis .

Isomerasis :- This catalyst is used for formation of the isomer of any compound .
