Answer:

The Earth was formed at the same time as the rest of the solar system by the coming together of materials that were not incorporated into the sun. The Earth was very hot (perhaps molten) at first, but quickly cooled off. Oceans appeared very early and have been on the surface continuously ever since. Life in the form of single-celled algae was present when the Earth was 3.5 billion years old. Animals with hard skeletons and shells appeared and formed fossils 540 million years ago. The period since then is usually broken up into the Paleozoic Era (“old life”) from 540 to 225 million years ago, the Mesozoic Era (“middle life”) from 225 million to 65 million years ago, and the Cenozoic Era (“modern life”) from 65 million years ago to the present. Dinosaurs flourished in the Mesozoic, whereas human beings have been present for only a few million years.

QUESTION:-

Explain about the evolution of the earth?

ANSWER:-

  • The Sun with its family of planets were formed when a haze of dust and condensation of gas occurred about 4.6 billion years ago.

  • Numerous hundred million years were taken after the formation of Earth where an outer crust was developed.

  • These outer crust surface rocks are no longer accessible for study because they have vanished into the core of Earth's dynamic planet.

  • The Earth was very heated probably molten initially but rapidly cooled off.

  • Oceans seemed very early and have been on the surface constant perpetually.

  • Life in the element of single-celled algae was existing when the Earth was 3.5 billion years old.

  • Animals with tough skeletons and shells existed and set fossils 540 million years ago.

  • The great bulk of Earth is comprised of oxygen, iron, silicon, and magnesium.

  • Since the Earth was formed somewhat close to the Sun by the accumulation of smaller solid bodies so it is a rocky, solid planet whose atmosphere was formed later.
