Explain about the shape and volume of solids, liquids, and gases.

1)Solids: Solids have a rigid structure and hence have a definite shape. The volume of solids also remains definite.
2)Liquids: The particles in liquids have less force of attraction between them as compared to the solids. Although they have a definite volume but their shape is not definite, they mould their shape according to the container.
3)Gases: Gases unlike solids neither have a definite shape nor definite volume.
