stars twinkle because of a natural phenomenon called atmospheric refraction.when light is emitted by star it passes through the atmosphere before reaching our eyes.earths atmosphere have different layers with different density because of passing through different densities light bend again and again and then reach our eyes.sometimes light dormir reach our eyes this process continues and the star appears to be twinkle.
