The water level will rise because the ice melts which means that the ice will convert into its liquid state and thus rise the level of the water(which is also in liquid state) in which it is immersed .

ANSWER : The water level in the glass will increase.

EXPLANATIONWhen the solid state ice melts, it's converted into the liquid state and is mixed with the water which is of same liquid state, so the water of surface area equal to the surface area of ice cube will be added to the water in glass, and as a result water level in glass will increase.
