You mean question tag ?

Let us consider an illustration:-

*JOHN IS A CARING BOY*

Here in this sentence we are able to see a helping verb i.e.'is'

so to add the question tag follow the following steps~

1] Rewrite the sentence as it is

2] Now add a comma(,)after writing the sentence again

3] Use the helping verb after the comma(,)

but in negative form (ex...is =isn't ,was=wasn't ) ...(Tip : after the comma the letter should continue with small alphabets not witg capital one ...)

4] After using the negative helping verb use the pronoun of the subject (here the subject in the sentence is 'John' so the pronoun used will be'he ' as John is masculine gender)

5] Finally do not forget to give question mark(?)

So let us see what will be the question tag for our question

Answer~*John is a caring boy,isn't he?*
