Started in 1939, the Second World War or the World War II was the biggest war in history. It involved more than 30 countries. The war was mainly between the Axis powers and the Allied countries. Axis powers included Germany, Italy and Japan while the Allied comprised of France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union and to a lesser extent, China. Started by the 1939 Nazi invasion of Poland, the war went on for six years and ended only when the Allies defeated Nazi Germany and Japan in 1945.

Following are the reasons behind the second world war:

1. Rise of nazis and fascists rule, dictatorships

2. Political Radicalism and Economic Crises

3. The Years of Depression

4. The Destruction of Democracy Atrocities on civilians, genocide on racial motives
