explain all the laws of thermodynamics
Answers
Answer:-
★ LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS:-
★ Zeroth law of thermodynamics:-
→ It states that if two bodies A and B are seperately in thermal equilibrium with third body C, then the bodies A and B are said to be in thermal equilibrium.
★ First law of thermodynamics:-
→ It states that if the heat energy absorbed by a system is equal to the sum of the increase in the internal energy and the external work done by the system on the surroundings.
★ Second law of thermodynamics:-
→ It has two statements:-
▪️Clausius statement:-
→ It states that it is impossible to transfer the heat from the cold body to the hot body without any external work.
▪️ Kelvin - Plank statement:-
→ It states that it is impossible to get continuous supply of work by cooling a body below the temperature of the surroundings.
★ Explain all the laws of thermodynamics?
★ It is the branch of the science that deals with the concept of the heat and temperature and the transformation of heat energy into other from of the energy and vice-versa.
★ There are total three laws of thermodynamics they are :-
★ Zeroth law of Thermodynamics :-
- It states that if two systems A and B are separately in thermal equilibrium with a third system C then A and C are also in thermal equilibrium with each other.
★ First law of Thermodynamics :-
- The energy/Heat (∆Q) supplied to the system is used partly to increase the internal energy (∆U) of doing the work done.
★ Second law of Thermodynamics :-
- In this law we study about two statements they are as :-
★ Clausius statement :- It is impossible to transfer heat energy from low temperature to high temperature without external work.
★ Kelvin plank statement :- It is impossible to construct a heat engine of 100 % efficiency that's why it is not possible to convert all the heat energy into work done.
