Revolution means rapid change in any thing.
Green revolution is so formed rapid development in food grains.
Green revolution is the five year plan 1951 which resulted in good prodution of food grain in 1956.
India govt supported the green revolution in many ways :-
govt provide HYV seeds , machines , manure, fertiliser ,govt provide water for irrigation to farmer in very low cost . Government provide food grains in cheap rate to farmer.
