hey here is your answer :-

ORGANIC COMPOUND
_____________________

all the carbon containing compounds are known as organic compound except carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, carbides, bicarbonate and carbonate.

______________________________

TYPES :-

saturated and unsaturated carbon compounds are the types of the organic compound.

✨ saturated carbon compound ;-

the atoms are satisfied by single bond between them such carbon compounds are called saturated compounds.

these compounds are really not very reactive.

✨ unsaturated carbon compound :-

such compounds of carbon having double or triple bond between the carbon atoms are known as unsaturated carbon compounds.

they are more reactive than saturated carbon compounds.

✨ hydrocarbon :-

the compound which are formed only of hydrogen and carbon are known as hydrocarbon .

Organic compounds contains carbon along with hydrogen...

There are various kinds of organic compounds..

For example:

1 Alcohol

R-OH (general formula)

It is made by the removal of one H from the parent compound and -OH is added to it..

Thus, if you are taking an alkane as your parent compound, it changes to ALKANOL..

2 Ester

It is made by the process called ESTERIFICATION..

3 Alkyl halide

R-X ( general formula)

Where X= Cl , Br , I .

It is made by the removal of one H from the parent compound and adding -X in its place..

4 Aldehyde

R-CHO ( general formula)

It is made by the removal of one H from the parent compound and adding -CHO in its place..

Thus if you take an alkane as your parent compound, you'll get ALKANAL..

Hope this helps you..
