During WWII, two sides, the Allies and the Axis powers, fought each other all over the world. The main Axis powers were Germany, Italy, and Japan, while the main Allies were Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union, and the United States. In addition, a few nations stayed neutral and didn't fight.

Explanation:

In short, Allies consisted of USA('Murica), France, UK, and the "glorious" USSR.

Axis powers consisted of Nazi Germany(is it ok if I write Nazi), Imperial Japan and Italy.

Axis powers wanted to conquer the world as that was Hitler's plan and he was the leader. The allied powers was preventing it ig. Hope this helped.

btw, Murica dropped 2 nukes on Japan as they were the last one remaining
