here is your answer :-)

___________

Ammonification is a part of nitrogen cycle.

let's firstly understand what is nitrogen cycle.

nitrogen cycle keeps the amount of of nitrogen constant in atmosphere and water bodies. The cyclic movement of nitrogen element between living and non living components of biosphere is called nitrogen cycle.

Now let's come to our topic......

what is Ammonification?

After the death of plants and animals and human beings , some bacteria and fungi decompose complex nitrogen compounds of dead bodies into simpler compounds that is ammonia and ammonium salts. This process is known as Ammonification.
