when a current is flowing through a long straight conductor it will produce magnetic field around itself in the form of concentric circles that is the magnetic field lines will be in the form of concentric circles either in clockwise direction or anticlockwise direction the direction can be found by maxwell's Right Hand Thumb Rule or cork screw rule.
The magnitude of the long straight conductor depends upon the magnitude of current flowing through the conductor with the increase in current the magnetic field increases. The magnitude of magnetic field also depends upon the distance between point of observation and the current carrying conductor with the increase in distance between current carrying conductor and the point of observation a magnetic field decreases.
