Experiment to show that sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis - definition. Take a plant with destarched leaf. Leaf is partially covered with black paper on which a design is cut. Expose this plant to sunlight for few hours and perform a starch test with iodine solution.

1. Take two plant and keep one plant in a dark room without any light source and another plant keep outside where sunlight is falling.

2. water yhe both plant for a week.

3. after a week you will notice that the plant which you keep in dark room has been died but the plant which you keep outside is good.

4.In this activity we saw that the plant in dark room died out because without sunlight plant can't prepare photosynthesis.

5. By this activity we learn that sunlight is very necessary for a plant for its growth and for its photosynthesis.
