  1. Take a plot and fill soil in it. It must be a barren land of soil.
  2. Take a plot where you have taken some soil and planted some saplings also.
  3. Wait until saplings grow a inch.
  4. Now take both the plots and put water on it.

Now observation:-

  • The plot with saplings releases less water
  • The barren plot with soil releases more water.
